AWQAFSA JAM’EYYATUL QURRA (JEQ) HIFTH WAQF FUND

As part of its commitment to nurturing Islamic scholarship and preserving the Qur’an through future generations, Awqaf South Africa has established in partnership with Jam’eyyatul Qurra (JEQ), a dedicated Waqf Fund to support Hifth students at the institution.

The initiative seeks to create a sustainable endowment that assists students who dedicate themselves to memorising the Qur’an, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their journey of becoming Huffath. Through the JEQ Hifth Waqf Fund, community members are invited to contribute towards a lasting legacy of Qur’anic preservation by supporting the educational and developmental needs of students engaged in this noble pursuit.

By building this waqf-based support system, Awqaf SA and JEQ aim to ensure that the reward of sustaining Qur’an memorisation continues to benefit both the students and the wider community for generations to come.
